Artwork including Zentangles and Doodles!
I’ve always enjoyed exploring a variety of different styles of drawing and painting. Over the years I participated in various art classes. On the Children’s Books page you will see my short story called ‘Battycat’ which I wrote and illustrated for my two youngest daughters over 30 years ago. Later, it was published by Kestrel Books.
I tried my hand at watercolours and pencil sketching and really enjoyed the whole process, but the writing of novels and poetry took over for a few years. Then about a year ago, a good friend of mine introduced me to the art form called Zentangles. I hadn’t come across it before, but I decided to give it a try. Since then I have really enjoyed the process and discovering how many variations one can create.
I have put together a collection of these Zentangle drawings in a gallery format here, as well as a mix of other drawings going back over the years.
